Working towards goals!

My wall of honor at my home consists of 4 medals…soon to be 5 that I am very proud of!

I have had the privilege of back last October of running, er, should I say walking the Palm Springs Tram Road Challenge.  That was a hard, hard walk, but my first medal.  The three medals to the right are in the order that I received them, I ran the Phoenix, AZ half marathon, the Palm Springs, CA half marathon and the Portland, Or. half marathon in 2012.  I plan to add to my medals with adding the San Diego half marathon on Sunday, June 3, then July 8 will be the Long Beach half marathon followed by the Bellingham, Wa. half marathon on July 21.  My goal is to try to get 12 half marathons completed in 2012 and then in 2013 be ready to run my full marathon, 26.2 miles!

I love setting goals, but even better is the satisfaction that comes when you have set a goal and then you watch yourself accomplish it!

Speaking of setting goals, those of you working on your memoirs, how have you been doing on getting close to your goal of finishing?  Keep working hard and you will accomplish all that you set out to do!!
