Today in my writing I reflected on these wise words from Confucius.  I want my wisdom to come from reflection as I have examined my life I realize that a lot of my wisdom has come from experience.

As I have been teaching my memoir workshops I notice that my wisdom I have been accumulating over these last 3 and a half years has come from reflecting on the stories of the lives of my students.  I see now that I can grow and become all of what I need to be by learning from older, wiser women.

I am grateful for all the lessons life brings my way, especially the lessons I can learn from others that I may not have to go down those hard roads of experience.

  1. Wise words dear Tammy and a beautiful revelation of Truth. We learn through Intuition our higher knowing and by bitter experience. As we surrender to our “still small voice” we are guided and directed in amazing ways. The Mystical, The Magical and the Miraculous go before us and prepare the way! Interesting synchronicities and serendipitious moments appear!
I’m off to Africa to speak at Madonna University! I’ve missed everyone at Yoga, however, the priorities of the moment have need of me!
    See you when I return!

    Blessings of Love and Light,
