Who is your “Coal”??

This past week while hiking with Wendy she made a comment that she loved it when her dog Coal could hike with her because he would run ahead of her and wait, looking back watching her ascend the steep part of the mountain.  She said it would motivate her to keep pushing forward through the heat, pain and uncomfortableness that sometimes comes with hiking, especially those mountains!

I thought about what she had to say and it made me think about all the “Coal’s” I have had in my life.  Who are those friends who have encouraged you to keep going when you just wanted to quit?

I teased Wendy and told her she was my “Coal”!  Look at the different areas of your life, do you have a “Coal” that encourages you to hike, or go to yoga or  do what you need to do?

Look for and thank the “Coal’s” of your life.  I am grateful that I have so many and I hope that I too am a “Coal” for my friends.
