Touched by a blog…

This past weekend tragedy struck the central coast.  Bruce and Margie, whom I have never met, were hit by a car while they were walking and killed instantly.  Margie was an avid blogger who would blog daily about her adventures in their motorhome.  She blogged about the places they traveled with their little schnauzer Annie.  They loved to walk and explore and it was on one of their morning walks when this happened.  The last blog was written by her daughter.  She told her mother’s blogger friends about the tragedy.  I was touched by this, since I had never met Margie but you felt as though you knew her when you read her blogs.  As I blog today I am extremely thoughtful that no one knows when their last breath will be breathed.  It makes me mindful to be more aware of each moment we have with each other.

Another reason why writing is so important to me, it is through writing that you can know someone.  As you look at your life, marvel at the blessings you have, tell those you love how you feel about them.  Breathe in this wonderful life…

Be truly grateful…
