To be satisfied is hard in this society where we are told to buy and improve and expand. “Too many” or “not enough” are signs that life is out of balance. The key to rebalancing is to listen and observe, to pay attention. It’s interesting to note that the organ that controls our body’s sense of balance is the same organ that is responsible for our sense of hearing: the ear. Balance and listening are linked. We need to be aware and alert to be balanced.
