Shaping our mind…

It is interesting to note that the mind is shaped continually throughout life by the connection between the neurophysiological processes of the brain and interpersonal relationships.  We can use an understanding of the impact of experience on the mind to deepen our grasp of how the past continues to shape present experience and influence future actions.  In todays world we have so much distraction and busyness that it is harder to undertake the inward journey and engage in the quiet reflection required to become more authentic human beings.

Think today about your past and how it is still working through you as you make your decisions regarding your life.  What do you need to work through to get to a place where you are whole, happy and complete.  What does being authentic look like to you?
