Perhaps the best thing…

If you’re the kind of person who likes things to go as planned, writing can help you embrace the surprises of life.  One of the gifts of writing is the pleasure of the unknown.  As you work let the process flow.

Perhaps the best thing about surprises-in writing and in life-is the unexpected joy they can bring.  Who would have thought that job you volunteered to do would have turned out so interesting?  Who would have guess that you would have met someone so in tune with your interests at that party?  When we are open to the surprises life brings, we find that we have the capacity to still be seized by wonder.

Today as you write, let your words flow forward.  Start with a thought and see where it takes you!  Enjoy!
