Sometimes our sadness is not something we can attribute to a specific cause, but is more a feeling of emptiness. There are times we may just seem to lose our motivation or inspiration. The best advice I’ve ever heard about overcoming this feeling is “do something.” Do something for yourself or for another person-even for the houseplants! It doesn’t really matter what it is, the act of doing will help!
Today in your writing examine the times when you have not been writing. What can you attribute it to? If you are presently feeling this way try my advice…do something for someone else…sometimes just shifting your focal point helps tremendously!
