Mondays with Melitas – May 18, 2015

Melitas May 18, 2015BEEG ANNOUNCEMENT

For my readers, — in the event there might be a few still hunkering around.

Yes, “THE” book is finished!!!!!!  Off it went to the Publisher yesterday, and here I am today, May 16, 2015, writing a  blog for “Mondays with So and So.”  It took me awhile to get those cobwebs out of my mind.  You would’ve thought someone was decorating for Halloween up there.  I’m going to give it the old “college try” for another book.  Hear that!!!  I guess I can still dream, can’t I?

I can hear my Coach Tammy saying “Just don’t get ahead of yourself — finish this blog and deliver it to me—then we can get it all fired up for the web site before everyone forgets how you look.  Okay, Kid?”

Okay, then.  I will bring this to a quick close to get ahead of the game instead of ahead of myself.  I’m a little confused at this point anyway.  I really need to proceed slowly to get back up to speed.  (Ha!)

In conclusion, all of you should get busy and practice composing great “replies” so that you will have something to say to ME.  If you love what I have said, then tell me; and if you don’t like what I said, tell me — those can be so funny.  They all make my day.

Love you all.

M.

Am so looking forward to the book and to many many Mondays to come!!

  17. Welcome back, Melitas. A book!… I predicted that since that day when you shared with us (Hanna, Theresa and yours truly) the story in which you stuck your head in the dryer. Since you survived that one, I knew you would have a bright literary future… and here we are! Congratulations!

    Love,

  21. Melitas, I’m so excited your blogs are back and even more excited about your book! I am proud of my Aunt Melitas and am in awe of your abilities to remember details, events, particulars, names, places, etc of your LONG life and especially because I cannot even remember what I ate for lunch yesterday!

Looking forward to the luncheon and my autographed copy of your wonderful book. To be honest, I’ve heard you and Alba talking about you writing a book but I had no idea that it was actually in the works. Talk about surprise! Love and hugs to you and Alba.
