Mondays with Melitas – July 1, 2013

A FLIMSY EXCUSE                                                       JULY 1, 2013

If you have been wondering what has been going on with “Mondays” around here, I may as well fess up and reveal that I have been flying very low under the radar.  It all started with the 95th birthday when all those wonderful people out there got me cornered in

those amazing surprise “do’s” for me.  I have been tired out.  Then things started going off kilter — the ancient plumbing started acting up so that made it difficult to get around to doing things I wanted to do.  Then the Sleep Gods kept waking me up at night as though I had to go somewhere at 4 AM?  Come on, now!

But now I may be getting back to the old —  or older, me as the case may be.  So. I have to finish the story with my niece, Sisty, and my son, Gary, because I have the tale half written, and I don’t want to waste it.

Promises, promises —  please don’t go ‘way.  I love you all. Melitas

  1. Dear Mena, I won’t go ‘way; and I love you too.

  2. I’m patiently waiting for another Monday to arrive and another story. Heck, any day of the week will do! I’m missing my Mondays with Melitas so I hope you get back in the saddle with your tales.
