A lot to be grateful for! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  This Thanksgiving is extra special as I am surrounded by my family on this holiday.  Today also marks my 50th birthday.  As I reflect back upon this past year in particular I am grateful for an amazing year.

It has been one of tremendous happiness and one of extreme sadness.  But that is life, life is a balance.  As I reflected last year as I was entering my last year of my 40’s I wanted it to be an amazing year and boy was it ever.

I talked to my rabbi and  began studying for my batmitzveh.  The previous year I converted to Judaism and one of the requirements was to learn to read Hebrew.  I never knew how much work it was to prepare for a batmitzveh, but boy what a huge commitment this became.

Saturday I look forward to the Shabbat where I have my batmitzveh…

A new adventure greets me as I begin my decade of my 50’s…a new life, a new business…
