Life asks us to let go…

Over and over again, life asks us to let go.  The seasons remind us that everything changes.  Our relationships demand that we let individuals be who they are, at any given time, and accept the good and bad qualities together.  The cycle of life and aging and death requires that we release our compulsion to control time.  Tension in our muscles-a tightness of control-is a sign that we are holding on too tightly to schedules or burdens or itself.

Today in your writing examine the meaning of time in your life.  Do you find yourself holding on too tightly?  How do you feel about you getting older? Do you control your schedules or do you find your schedule controlling you?
