How our memoirs help us rebalance…

Sometimes we need to stop trying to make the world look beautiful and instead live with its brokenness for a little while.  We need to accept the flawed as part of life’s balance.  A memoir journal can take us beyond the “pretty” to the “real,” to the honest acknowledgement of the “messy” places of our lives.  Each time we allow ourselves to put our lives on paper-messes and all-our memoirs help us rebalance our spirit and our earthiness.  Our joy and sadness.  Our sense of what is too much and what is not enough.  Our minds and hearts.

What needs rebalancing in your life today?

  1. Dear Tammy,

These are the times where some of the most important seeds are waiting. They are rich times for the development of creativity and wisdom in our lives. Thank you, peace,

    • Thank you Diane, you are so correct. It is when we do the real soul searching that we realize how wonderful we truly are. Last summer I spent two solid months writing through my “hard” times. I have become a better person due to the time I spent re-evaluating my life. I am thankful I took those two months to really “see” what I needed to see!
