A lot of days I seek balance and fail.  I spend too much time alone or too much time with other people.  I am too active or too sedentary.  I write for too many hours or I go too many days without creating anything.  Life is busy.  And if I try to tell you how important it is to find time to create, your response might be, “You just don’t know my life.  I can’t even find the time to rest, let alone create!”  Let me tell you a secret: You don’t have to do it all at once.  You just need to begin.

Today in your writing what has been holding you back from spending time writing and recording your story?  Sometimes it is the fear of looking back. Sometimes it is the fear of the unknown.  Or maybe you just feel as though your life isn’t exciting enough to record.  Observe today what your thoughts on what blocks you.  Work on finding just the right balance that feels good for you.
