Ever wonder what total cuteness looks like?

Yesterday I wrote about pure joy.  One of the things that brings me joy is when I see the cuteness of animals.  Take a look at the adorable Rowdy (on the left) and Darby (on the right).  How can you not look at these precious pups and not break out in a huge smile?  So if you had a hard time finding what your pure joy looks like, just look at these two.

What are things you can look at that will immediately elevate your mood?  Many times as we write our stories we may find ourselves feeling a sense of sadness or heaviness of times gone by.  You may be missing friends and family members that have passed away.  It is important to go to those feelings but don’t let them overtake you entirely.

When I am writing about a particularly heavy or sad memory it helps me if I can go there, feel it, experience it and then release it.  And the best way to release it is to  find something that makes you feel better.  Or just come back to this blog and take a look at Rowdy and Darby.  And by the way, they are just as sweet as they are cute!

Thanks Ed and Paula Young for sharing this picture with me!  Total cuteness and pure joy!!
