Digest and Express!

Here is what I really love about writing…it tames my mental jabber by getting it out of my head and into visual form.  It does for my mind what exercise does for my body: creates energy, sharpens my thinking, and restores my natural rhythms.  Writing does for my soul what meditation does for my spirit: calms, roots, and clarifies.  When I am writing, I am tapping into the best of what it is to be human: the ability to digest and express the world around me, and personal world within me, in tangible terms!

As you write today what are you observing in the world around you?  How can you best express yourself today in your writing?

  1. Dear Tammy,

There are real linkages to what you’ve written here and themes in EAT, PRAY, LOVE. You write from your heart and from what’s real, and I think that gives not only credibility to what you say and teach, but it I’m betting it also facilitates your being in sync with what’s going on in the world beyond your retreat. Very important Thank you. Peace,
