Could that be Superman?

Broad shoulders on a 6’2″ torso

Flamingo legs well hidden by trousers

Sans care curly hair brushed back into organized waves

His smell was always clean – shower fresh clean…

That’s how I want to remember him.

My auditory senses recall

A soothing masculine voice, not velvety, but manly

His New York accent made some words linger long after his sentences were complete

I’ll always remember his voice message to me: “I just called to say I love you

Sounding much better than Stevie Wonder ever did…
