Charming Old Village of Greece

The beauty of the old village is something that words can scarcely describe.  The world is a beautiful place when you set off to explore.  I love the fact that even if you cannot speak another’s language you can always communicate with a smile.  The little older greek lady at the taverna I like to get my morning coffee at and do my wifi does not speak any english but she always greets me with a smile and touches my hair.  Her eyes are bright and shining and I see that she watches for me each day.  She knows what I order and now has it ready for me.  Her daughter speaks some english and today she told me this: my mom says you are a beautiful angel.  Then the daughter proceeded to ask me a lot of questions and then translated back to the mother what I said.  The look of love in the mother’s eyes was tender and sweet.  I will miss my morning coffee’s with them.  I am taking in the moments that I share with each person who  comes into my existence.  photo (97) photo (98) photo (99)
