Being open to the journey…

Every time I start a new writing project, I am tempted to want perfection.  I can become overwhelmed with the possibilities.  The beauty is that, once I get started, the journey takes over as I add, take away, and step back to reflect.  Being open to the journey of creating a page leads me to surprising vistas and feelings of accomplishments.  Once in awhile, though, I find my analytical mind drifting to the outcome of a page.  At those moments, I take a gentle breath and remind myself to follow the path of the page – to trust my sense of balance and proportion and to allow the photographs and my written words to speak.

As you write today examine your journey.  Are you open to the creativeness of your beingness?
