Always Remember

Today in my Reflections class one of the questions I asked was to reflect on how our life is more satisfying living in the age we do then maybe how it was for our parents.  I think it is a great reflection question to think about those who have gone before us and have helped pave the path of our journey.

I am sure you may feel the same way I do about wanting the election to be over.  This time of year you can’t turn on the tv without a political ad blaring out at you.

As women in particular we weren’t always allowed to vote.  Many women in many countries don’t have the rights we enjoy today.

Let’s reflect back upon those who gave us a helping hand to extend our rights and write about them today.

  1. Tammy,

Just last night I reflected on the likes of Gloria Steinhem, Betty Friedan and other pioneers of the women’s movement. Where are they now? We need them desperately. I think young women of today don’t know what is at stake with this election.

  2. I agree with you 100 percent!
