Ahhhhh Accomplishment…

If you have been following my posts for awhile you will remember that starting on June 1st I started the Bikram Yoga 30 day challenge.  The challenge was to complete 3o yoga classes in 30 days.  And you will remember that Melanie and I (picture on the far right is Mel) completed 46 classes in 30 days.  That was  a lot of doubles that we did!  We set a goal and worked hard and accomplished it.  I shared at the party tonight that Kim’s studio (Kim is in the picture on the far left next to me) has changed my life.  I started back to doing yoga at a hard time in my life.  The friends I have made (Heather is one of them, she is int he picture in the middle with me and mel) have made a difference in my life.  I always believe that if you keep your mind open you will find exactly what you are looking for.  The yoga family has meant so much to me.  The teachers at BYUV are the best and I love each of them so very much.  I have to give out another shout out of love to my dear friend Melanie for inviting me to do yoga with her.  The practice of yoga has changed my life.  It has caused me to be more focused and at one of the hardest times in my life has been my life support.  I am grateful to all my fellow yogi’s at BYUV.  Namaste, see you in class!!

  1. T!!! You are so brave. All the times in my life when I have struggled, I have made the choice (and sometimes it didn’t feel like a choice) to hide. I am so proud of your courage to come out each and every day (or more) for 30 days and face life head on in the midst of all the adversity you faced over the last few months. You are an inspiration. Life only has one direction–forward my friend and you are an example of moving through your struggles with openness and grace. It was an honor to watch you!

    • Awww, Mel…couldn’t have done it without you by my side each step of the way!
