A Journey in Nature

Several months ago my son Kurt, sent me a book of photographs of Bellingham, Washington.  I enjoyed looking through the book, especially the post-it notes he placed inside of different places he had already visited.  One of the places he marked off was Whatcom Falls.  When I visited with him last week, I did one of my runs to Whatcom Falls.  This was the picture that I took.  It was just as beautiful as the picture in the book.

Running in nature is different than the running I do in Palm Springs.  I love finding new trails and enjoying the adventure.

Today in your writing I want you to think about what you enjoy about being in nature.  Sit and think about the smells, sites and sounds.
