A different way of seeing something…

When I first heard this quote I thought it was so profound.  What a great way to see this.  We have all had our fair share of painful endings.  And there is no way to describe it but painful.  When we are in the midst of a painful ending sometimes it is all we can do just to keep moving forward.  It is hard to look on the bright side or as they say, keep your chin up.  Instead we focus inward on our pain.  We move through our grief and cry.  Maybe the crying turns to weeping as the days blur into each other.

Looking back I can say that I can be thankful for those painful endings.  Whether they were initiated by me or another person in my life I can now look back and see that through that ending I had a new beginning.

I am grateful for all my new beginnings.  I want to remember this the next time I have a painful ending…
