A Chance Meeting…

I love it when I happen to be at the right place at the right time!  Two years ago I was on vacation when I got a phone call from the President of the National League of American Pen Women.  She asked me if I would consider a position on their board as the scholarship chairperson.  She explained to me what it would involve and asked me to consider.  I carefully considered and thought it over and agreed to come on board.  During our very first board meeting I remember sitting across from the woman in the picture on the right hand side.  I was introduced to her and immediately I loved her energy.  Her name is Lynne Spreen and she was on the board as the New Member Board Member.  (It is probably another title, but don’t remember what it was!).  Lynne is an amazing woman and writer and now a friend.  Yesterday I brought 4 of my closest friends to Hemet to meet Lynne and she took us out on an amazing wine tasting adventure in Temecula.  This was my third time going out with Lynne and she is so much fun.  I also want to plug her blog, which you can find at www.anyshinything.com  her tagline is: For Smart Women of a Certain Age.

Go check out her website and I am looking forward to the next time I see my amazing friend!  Thanks again Lynne!!
