The word photography literally means “writing with light.” We often think of light as a static presence that varies depending on the time of day. But what if we remember that light is always in motion? It is the fastest traveler. And when it arrives at us, we absorb some of it and we reflect some of it-giving those around us a glimpse of who we are. Light illuminates. Its helps us see what really is.
I think that is one of the reasons why I love living here in the desert. We have sunshine nearly 365 days of the year. I love absorbing the sunshine on my body as I lay by the pool or hike up the mountains or ride my bike through town. Today in your writing try to get a glimpse of who you really are.
