Yesterday was a test of patience and perseverance.  I have always felt like you don’t really know yourself until circumstances come your way that bristle your normal way.  Yesterday was one of those days… I was the unfortunate recipient of a facebook virus.  This virus went through my fb friends and began sending them a strange message that looked like I was sending them a video.  Although very frustrating, I had to realize that this was a small matter in my life.  What are the important things to me?  I started to list them and I realized that this small inconvenience to me and my fb friends was just that, an inconvenience.  What really matters in my life?  I was able to get my computer sent off and it is on its way to getting the virus taken out and I will open a new fb acct.

Today what really matters is that I am heading out later to the Women of Distinction Luncheon at Wally’s and will be giving a speech.  Does it matter that my speech is locked up in my computer which is now not home?  No, I am realizing that sometimes the best things in life are spontaneous.

So when you come across those times in your life that frustrate you, look at the whole picture…my picture is looking good these days, just matters where I focus my light.
