The Journey Home

As I am typing this, I am sitting in the same little library in Los Osos that I was in a few weeks ago.  Today I am sitting in the children’s section of the library.  So many of the titles and authors are the same ones that I can remember as a kid.  I used to love to read about Ramona the Pest and always related to her…I wonder why???  I am just a few days away from returning home to my beautiful desert and feel as though I have refreshed my spirit during these 3 weeks away.  I have been hiking, beach walking, biking, kayaking, wine tasting, visiting all of my 4 children, my parents, my sister, my niece and nephew and even my grandniece!   There is always something fun about being away, but the real joy comes in the connection of coming home and feeling connected to my community.  I love my women writers who assemble with me each week.  I look forward to connecting with all of you again next week!

I recommend anyone for whatever reason to expand their life and sign up for her writing workshops or classes. You'll be amazed at how good you are and how everyone has a story worth telling. Sign up and set your voice free!"
