What are the things that resonate with you? What moves you deeply? What makes you ache, listen, cry, scream, love? Whatever it is, it can become a focal point for your memoir page. Ultimately, a memoir is a home for all the things that resonate within us, that awaken us with their meaning and depth.
Things that resonate with me are: spending time walking Courtney, enjoying my students and friends (usually these are one and the same!), walks along the beach, hiking, bike riding, taking care of my spirit with journaling and meditation. Making deep connections with others is what I really love to do.
Beautiful writing prompt. I especially appreciate how you share your response to the question. You are involved in the creative process, you don’t stand at arm’s length. This is engaging and I know it must help the “Art Spirits” who visit here to contemplate their own responses. You have a wonderfully generous blog, Tammy. I’m so glad to have found it and look forward to returning again and again. Peace and all good,
Diane
Thanks Diane! And I love your blog! I love your term “art spirits”! Thanks for all you do to help others in their creative endeavors! I hope to meet you some time face to face in the near future…I feel like we have a definite connection!
