National League of American Pen Women

Today was our first meeting of the new season of the National League of American Pen Women.  I am proud to be on the board of this great organization of women.  The morning started with our board meeting (I am the scholarship chair) and then we had our lunch time monthly meeting.  I love this group of women.  Not only did I make some new friends, but was also able to see some of my fellow colleagues that I haven’t seen in a few months.  We had a great speaker that spoke about social media.  I was reminded that it is important for me to blog each day, or as muchas is possible.  I love being around other writer’s because it reminds me that I am not alone when I am writing…I am surrounded by my fellow writers, my sisters of the craft who understand what it is to have a deadline or writer’s block.  I want to also remind those of you who live in the Palm Springs area to consider joining the Palm Springs Writer’s Guild, our next meeting will be on Saturday, October 31 at 2 pm at the Rancho Mirage Library, hope to see you there!

"Because of Tammy I have found confidence in my writing and feel blessed to be honored in such a way. I have found my voice. I have found freedom! I recommend anyone for whatever reason to expand their life and sign up for her writing workshops or classes. You'll be amazed at how good you are and how everyone has a story worth telling. Sign up and set your voice free!"
