Food coma…

I have spent the last two days feasting.  I don’t know what it is about Thanksgiving, but the smell of the turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing and gravy…uh oh…I better stop as I am starting to drool.  Not only did I have my fill of Thanksgiving but since my birthday fell the day afterwards, the feasting continued!  I had the most amazing dinner at my most favorite restaurant in the world, Cafe Jacqueline.  This is the sweetest, coziest restaurant you could ever hope to go for a birthday dinner.  Jacqueline, the owner and chef was busy in the kitchen whipping up all of the wonderful souffles.  For dinner we had the leek, mushroom and prosciutto souffle and the dessert souffle we ordered was the lime and it was out of this world.  Of course I fell asleep with a full tummy and a smile on my face dreaming of my wonderful culinary delights.  Note to self: better start the diet soon as Christmas is only a few short weeks away…
