A shiny dime…

This morning on my morning walk I was walking in gratitude.  I use this time to think of all the people who have stepped into my life that I am grateful for.  One of my students shared a story about a shiny dime.  I won’t go into all of it here, but when ever she feels her mom is reaching out to her she finds a shiny dime.  This was my my 7th loop of my 5 mile morning walk when I began to think of Pia and about how grateful I am to her and how she adds so much to my life…just as I thought of that I looked down and there was a shiny dime.  I called her immediately and let her know her mom was sending me a message.  Are you open to what you should be learning?  A great thing to do is write down in your journal your gratitudes.  I have so much to be thankful for…from healthy children to great students to a loving relationship.  The more I write the more I can see that what a truly blessed place I come to…marvel at what you have to be thankful for!
