I think as writers and as fellow sojourners on this path we all need some tools in our toolbox. These tools are the things that help us when we are needing some guidance or assistance along the way. One of my tools in my toolbox I have had for about 4 years. This is one of those tools that I don’t pull out too often, yet I know it is there whenever I need it. I think one of the most helpful things you can do for yourself is to have a life coach or a transformational coach. One of the very best that I have worked with is Lisa Shield. One of the best things about Lisa is that I don’t have to always travel to her office. Her office is in Los Angeles and when I first started working with her I was living in San Jose. Lisa has helped me to see the areas in my life that need working on in a gentle, loving and compassionate way. Lisa has helped me in so many ways. I want to let you all know that if you don’t have a “tool” like Lisa (I wonder if Lisa has ever been called a tool before??) then consider making an appointment with her. Check out her website at www.lisashield.com

LIFE CoachingIt has been said that “life coaching is product development with you as the product.” Life coaching addresses every aspect of your life, knowing that growth in one area will affect all areas simultaneously. The coaching relationship is a partnership of two equals. Through the use of probing questions, I help connect you with your deepest dreams and desires. Together we will plan the steps you need to take action and bring your dreams to life. By challenging you to stretch beyond the bounds of what is safe and comfortable, I help you see that you can be and do more than you ever thought possible. Even when you’re blinded by fear or lose your direction, I help you feel safe and supported by reminding you of your strengths, power, wholeness, values and dreams. I hold and honor your personal goals, and I listen to and respect what you say; after all, this is your life, and everything that you bring up in our sessions is important and needs to be explored. My role is to allow you to fully express yourself so that you can see the magnificence of who you already are. Once you see that, you can create anything?and all things are possible. It’s my job to help you get there. |
