This afternoon I had the pleasure of having dinner with my sister.  I have been here in the desert for over two years and this was her first visit.  Actually in the last 3 years this has only been the second time we have gotten together.  Here is what I love about my sister…no one knows me like her.  We have shared so many memories throughout our childhood.  She fills in my memory blanks, since she is older.  It was fun reminiscing with her about why we are the way we are!  We came to the conclusion it was our mother, so thanks mom!!  I know that even though we don’t live near each other all I have to do is reach out and she is there for me, and I know she feels the same about me.
