Last weekend there was an amazing event in Indio at the Polo Grounds. The event was supposed to have polo and wine tasting. Instead the polo ponies were on a time-out since one of the horses got herpes and had to be put down. It was actually very sad, but the wine event still went on. I met up with various friends throughout the day and we had a great time.
The great thing about living here is that there are so many activities here to keep you busy. Many of my students are retired and they live here and are busier than ever.
As I teach my classes and look around at all the beautiful faces of my students I can see that they really love their life. As they recall various stories from their childhood their faces radiant from the beauty of living a well lived life.
It is so true, I can’t believe how very lucky and blessed I am that I live where I live and I get the privilege of guiding so many of my students each week into the joy of remembering and recording their wonderful life stories!
