I recently attended the November luncheon for the Pen Women organization here in Palm Desert.  I am very proud to be on the board of this great organization.  The speaker this week spoke about Dr. Seuss.  She was amazing as she had two of his stories memorized by heart and recited them.  It was beautiful and it reminded me of how much I used to love to read Dr. Seuss.  I love children’s stories that have that sing-song rhyme to them.  My all time favorite children’s book is called Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree.  This was a book I received when I was a member of a book order club and they would send me a book or two every month.  The story is also in rhyme and it is adorable, if I ever see it again I am going to snatch it right up!  Whenever I attend any of the Pen Women luncheon’s I am always amazed and inspired to be around such a great group of talented women.  It reminded me to love my passion and that is of writing.  I love to think of a brilliant idea and began to plan out a lesson or a book.  I am one of the fortunate women who has found her passion early.  Each day I wake up so happy that I do what I do!  Have you found your passion yet?
