Here is what I really love about writing…it tames my mental jabber by getting it out of my head and into visual form.  It does for my mind what exercise does for my body: creates energy, sharpens my thinking, and restores my natural rhythms.  Writing does for my soul what meditation does for my spirit: calms, roots, and clarifies.  When I am writing, I am tapping into the best of what it is to be human: the ability to digest and express the world around me, and personal world within me, in tangible terms!
