Lately I have been thinking and writing a lot about authenticity.  I teach through my classes how to be more authentic in our writings.  But the question still remains, how do we go about expressing ourselves more authentically?  Since the word authenticity comes from the same Greek root as author, I’m sure no one would be surprised that authoring your own life does not have “ten easy steps.”  Authenticity requires a lifelong commitment to self-discovery and self-observation.

Today in your writing observe where in your life you are authentic and then also look and observe and see what areas you may need to be more authentic.  Dig deeper and see in those areas why you may not be as authentic.
