Those who have been fortunate to be in some of my classes have had the opportunity to meet my little dachshund Courtney, otherwise known as C-Dog.  Courtney is a lot of fun to have.  She keeps me centered and happy.  She is now 8 years old, but when she was about one she became very sick.  I took her to several vets in San Jose and no one knew what to do.  Finally we found Dr. Moore who did some exploratory surgery and discovered she has pancreantitus.  She was put on Prednisone and Metronizodol.  Each time we tried to wean her off the meds she would become very sick again.  It was sad and heartbreaking.  Just before I moved out of the bay area Andrea did some research and found Dr. Walt McCall, a homeopathic vet.  What a miracle he has been.  He told me to take her off the meds and to start giving her some herbs he had made.   She immediately began to get better.  She still has her flare ups, but is much improved.  This past week she started getting symptoms again and wouldn’t eat (which, if you know Courtney then you know if she doesn’t want to eat, she is VERY sick!)  I had the opportunity to go see Dr. McCall yesterday and he is quite the miracle doctor, she started feeling better right away.  Now I am wondering if it was the pancreantitus or maybe she was just allergic to Modesto.  Anyways, thank you to Dr. McCall and all that you do for animals.  He is an amazing man and I am so thankful that he came into my life.
