Since I have been sending out my new and amazing newsletters, I have not been blogging! A lot has been happening in this wonderful circle of women writers. The luncheon that was held the end of March was another great success. A special thank you to the women who shared their stories! Since the luncheon a group of us went on an amazing tour of the guide dogs of the desert. Wow! That was a great experience, I would like to plan another group excursion to guide dogs in the future! The hiking group has been hiking the La Quinta Cove on Tuesday mornings meeting at 8 am. On April 13, 5 hearty souls traveled to Mecca to hike the Painted Canyon. Now that is something every one should do! I really would like to plan another Painted Canyon hike as I know that some of you missed it due to Easter. Our next field trip is for Monday, April 20. We will meet at my office at 9 am and travel to Moorten’s Botanical Gardens in Palm Springs and then have lunch in Palm Springs. This is a great place to visit and the cost is only $3.00 per person plus lunch. I don’t have the date set for the May luncheon as of this day, but I will keep you posted as it will be the last luncheon until next fall! Once again I am so thankful for all of you who have touched my heart. I look forward to each class we have together.
