Certain colors make us sigh and certain colors invigorate us.  This is also true of our relationships and our surroundings.  One of the most powerful lessons of color is that it reminds us not to turn our lives-or our memoirs-into a game of hierarchy, but to embrace variety.  Just as we need different colors for different purposes on our pages, so, too, do we need a variety of people to fulfill different roles in our lives.

Today examine the relationships in your life.  If you are like most people you have a variety of friends that have entered into your realm.  Today contemplate and find what is it that resonates with you in each of these relationships.  Spend some time reflecting and writing on it!
