I just finished my first week of my new series of classes.  I had a busy week with my open house and then I taught 7 workshops so far and a drop-in class tomorrow and a half day workshop on Saturday.  You would think I would be exhausted, but mentally I am so stimulated.  I have the awesome privilege to hear women share their stories with me.  I get to listen as my job.  I am sure my teachers from school would probably all laugh if they knew that one aspect of my job was listening.  I always received a “needs improvement” in the listening area of my report cards.  Listening comes to me as a moment of awe and awakening.  Watching my students rejoice in each others stories warms my heart.   Again I am so grateful that I have the best job in the world…
