This past week I was able to spend time with 3 of my 4 grown children.  It started when I rolled into San Jose and surprised my youngest son Kevin at work.  I posted his reaction on facebook, but it was so cute.  When he saw me he did a double take and said: “Man, mom, you look so good!”  What a compliment!

Saturday my daughter was my companion as we said good-bye to one of my best friends at her memorial service.

Monday, my oldest son, Kent flew into Palm Springs to spend 5 days with his mama.  We are planning on doing lots of hiking while he is here.

My middle son, Kurt is currently living and working up in Bellingham, Washington.  I hope to visit him this summer. 

Life is good.  As I reflect on each of my kids I am proud of each of them in their own unique way.  Next week my daughter is coming to visit her mama.  I hope each of you have a wonderful rest of 2011, there are not very many days left of this year.  What have you accomplished in your lifetime that you are most proud of?
